John Halligan, professor of Public Administration at the ANZSOG Institute for Governance, University of Canberra, Australia held a public lecture „Political advisers and Civil Servants: Comparative Overview and Open Issues” on September 17th 2012 at the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb.

The actuality of this topic is shown by the professor Halligan's upcoming visit in Split on September 21-24, 2012 where he will hold the same lecture at the Faculty of Law, University of Split on September 21th 2012.

The lecture in Zagreb was moderated by prof. dr.sc. Ivan Kopric, president of the Institute of Public Administration and Head of the Department of Administrative Science at Faculty of Law in Zagreb, who presented the scientific activities and achievements of the lecturer. The audience consisted of several dozen members of the Institute of Public Administration, representatives of the Ministry of Public Administration, professors and associates of the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Political Science as well as PhD students and undergraduate students.
