Conference “Does Croatia need agencies? Regulation and privatization at the national, regional and local levels”, Zagreb, 16 November 2012

On the 16th November 2012, Croatian Institute of Public Administration organized a conference titled Does Croatia need agencies? Regulation and privatization of public services at the national, regional and local levels at the Croatian Chamber of Commerce.

Editors of the Conference were Professor Ivan Koprić, Assistant Professor Anamarija Musa and Assistant Professor Vedran Đulabić from the Department of Administrative Science, Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb.

The Conference was organized in four panels, and began with welcoming notes of Ms Jasminka Trzun, representing the Croatian Chamber of Commerce, Ivan Koprić, representing the Institute of Public Administration and Zoran Pičuljan, PhD, representing the Ministry of Public Administration, highlighting the importance of reorganization and repositioning of the agencies in the Croatian public administration system and expressing the hope that some useful solutions for all those interested in agencies would be crystallized in the presentations.
